Introducing Selecta, one of Melbourne’s most energetic cover bands. Performing regularly around Melbourne & country Victoria, with their unique brand of 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today’s best Rock/Funk/Dance covers. Selecta’s philiosophy in entertaining crowds is within their selection of material, with the underlying factor of ‘keeping them up dancing’. No soppy balads or corny love songs, just rockin' anthems that you can sing, drink, and dance all night long too.....

Veterans of five years, Selecta has already made its own impression on the Melbourne cover band scene, performing to various pubs/clubs , corporate and private functions; with a list of clients including St.George bank, Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne Museum, the Australian Defence forces, and more – as well as performing for corporate events like Charity Tsumani benifit, Rugby World Cup '04, Royal Children's hospital appeal.

Selecta is a 5 piece outfit comprising of, Al on lead vocals, Joe on bass, George on keys, Das on guitar and Craig on drums. The mixture of keys and guitar gives Selecta a wide range selection of songs, not currently seen in many of todays cover bands – covering songs right through from 70's disco, 80's pop, 90's grunge, and today's dance/rock tunes.

Selecta have an extensive & always ever growing song list, allowing them to be able to cater for any crowd or event, whether it be a pub/venue, wedding, or corporate/private function, unlike other cover bands who replay the same songs over & over for each gig. Selecta’s professionalism and onstage antics, will always engage & entertain any crowd for the entire performance.

Selecta has become notorious for providing a high energy performance along with crowd participation, onstage routines, dress up themes, and producing excellent quality party anthems to please any audience of all ages.
